#TheSapientIMPACT: Total Jobs Created Per Project by Sapient Vendors in 2016

#TheSapientIMPACT is our company’s contribution to the society in terms of job creation and value creation. And this year, we have been able to create a total number of 395 jobs (job creation) and 13 projects (value creation).

Total Jobs Created Per Project in 2016

Below are jobs created per project in 2016:

• First Quarter

In the first quarter of the year, 153 jobs were created from 4 projects that were executed within the first three months i.e. 1^st January to 31^st March. Details are as follows:

Civil Work for Shelters for Walk Through Scanner at GOP,Ojota,Ibadan: 15 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on the 5^th of January with an execution period of three months.

Maternal Ward Upgrade Project at Oyo State: 67 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on 1^st of February with an execution period of two months.

Civil Renovation Works at MRS Outer Road New Garage, Ibadan: 17 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on the 29^th of March with an execution period of four months.

Refurbishment of NIS Screening Centre Sokoto: 54 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on the 31^st of March with an execution period of two months.

• Second Quarter

In the second quarter of the year, 131 jobs were created from 4 projects that were executed within the months of April and June. Details are as follows:

Renovation Works At Egbe Service Unit for IBEDC: 28 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on the 8^th of April with an execution period of two months.

Supply and Installation of Thunder Arrestor at Ibafo Dump Site: 5 jobs were also created on this project which was commissioned on the 26^th of May with an execution period of one week.

Toilet & Gate Houses Refurbishment Works at Matori Regional Office: 64 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on the 10^th of June with an execution period of two months.

Maternal Ward Upgrade Project at Sokoto: 34 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on the 15^th of June with an execution period of two months.

• Third Quarter

In the third quarter of the year, 42 jobs total were created from two projects that were executed in the month of September. Details are as follows:

Maternal Ward Upgrade Project at Abia State: 25 jobs were also created on this project which was commissioned on the 14^th of June with an execution period of two months.

Reinforcement And Felting Of Concrete Slab On The 2nd Floor, Golden Plaza: 17 jobs were created on this project which was commissioned on the 8^th of September with an execution period of two months.

• Fourth Quarter

In the fourth quarter of the year, a total of 69 jobs were created from three projects that were executed in the month of November and December. Details are as follows:

Construction of one storey staff office Blocks for Lecturers, Maritime Academy Oron: a total of 34 jobs were created on this project with the composition of the following workforce;

• 8 Masons
• 6 Labours
• 3 Electricians
• 4 Plumbers
• 9 Carpenters
• 4 Welders

Proposed Residential Building for Mr. Kazeem Banuso: a total of 10 jobs were created on this project with the composition of the following workforce;

• 5 Masons
• 3 Labours
• 2 Electricians

Repair of damaged POP at Apapa facility, MTN Communication Limited: a total of 25 jobs were created on this project with the composition of the following workforce;

• 4 Labours
• 2 Electricians
• 6 Ceiling Specialist
• 2 Tilers
• 4 Painters
• 2 Aluminium Specialist
• 5 Cleaners
